We have already amassed an incredible amount of enthusiastic followers and now Wassup Dog in East Perth is set to get even cooler, with the launch of a new menu and liquor license.
ICED COLD BEER (OR CIDER, WINE, GIN) & GOURMET HOTDOGS
For the first time in Perth, the funky restaurant will be helping you pair a local brew, gin-based cocktail or wine with your hotdog. The perfect accompaniment for the delicious Moroccan Dog is a chilled Gage Roads Single Fin, the Frenchman Dog cries out for a glass of shiraz and the Gado Gado Dog can only get better with a classic Gin and Tonic.
Taking inspiration from his world travels and honouring his own country’s pride in their cuisine, nomadic Frenchman Jules Aknin worked on the Wassup Dog menu like a mad scientist. But there is method to his madness and an art to his science.
Combining amazing waves of flavour, each Wassup Dog is meant to tantalise and surprise with its unexpected, yet perfectly harmonious use of fresh ingredients. They also cater to all dietary requirements with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu and weekly vegan specials.
Limited edition launch specials are the mouth-watering Beer Braised Pulled Scotch Pork Dog on wholemeal bread and coleslaw, the mind-blowing Parmigiana Dog with onion jam and the Curry Coco Dog with homemade vegan curry coconut sauce.
